Forgiveness

PTL, for forgiving all our sins, past, present, and future on the Cross over 2000 years ago. If ya think about it, all our sins were still future 2000 years ago.

The wages of sin is death, not out of fellowship.Christ's blood procured our forgiveness, not our confession.

Thats why we need to study the whole chapter of 1st John, in context.

In context 1st John 1:9 is to and unbeliever, not a Believer.

Satan has done a masterful job, making believers sin focused instead of Christ focused.

Christ was teaching under Law, when He 

taught that if you don't forgive, than you won't be forgiven. 

Now we know in Rom.6:14, that members in the body of Christ living in the dispensation of grace, are not under Law, but are under Grace.

After the Cross and Christs accention and glorification at the rRght Hand of the Father in His Heavenly Ministry, He revealed to our Apostle Paul that believers are to forgive, because we HAVE BEEN FORGIVEN. Eph.4:32.

What a wonderful truth justification is, being declared rightious in Christ by God, once and for all, the moment we trusted in the Gospel.
