Trusting & Yielding

Trusting & Yielding

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

The Church is not about a location or a particular congregation. The Church is described as those people who believe Jesus of Nazareth is Lord, Christ, and King. We need an awakening in the hearts of God’s people. Let’s simply, quietly, and humbly say to the Lord, “God, change my heart, change my life, open my eyes, unstop my ears.” God will move Heaven and Earth to help His people. The Bible is filled with those stories. He’ll part a sea. He’ll prepare a fish. He’ll do whatever He needs to do. If we respond to the Lord, and yield to Him in trust, we will see His response.

THINK ABOUT IT
Remembering how God has moved and helped you in the past can encourage you in what you are facing today.

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, I say yes to You. I surrender myself—my time, energy, talents, and resources—for Your glory. I reject selfishness, selfish ambition, and my commitments to pleasure and the things that satisfy me. Lord, I offer myself as a living sacrifice to serve You. Give me ears to hear and eyes to see so I might cooperate with Your purposes. Grant me the courage, boldness, and wisdom I need to make godly decisions, so that it pleases You to bring victory and opportunity to my life. In Jesus’ name, amen.
