Create A Pure Heart Within Me

Chronicles 28:9
And you, my son Solomon, acknowledge the God of your father, and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches every heart and understands every motive behind the thoughts. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever.

The challenge of behavior isn’t just in the hearts of the ungodly, or the wicked, or our next-door neighbor—it’s about us. If your momentum in the things of God has diminished, what would have to happen to regain that momentum in the Lord? What would it look like for a true awakening to take place within you so your behavior could realign with godliness? If God’s people can find our alignment with the heart of God, that is the best pathway toward peace, contentment, joy, and purpose for ourselves, our children, and their children after them. It can make a difference for generations to come.

Life transformation comes when you allow the Holy Spirit to examine your heart and choose to cooperate with what He reveals to you.

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, reveal to me anything within me that's displeasing or a limit to You. May I become so uncomfortable with it that I will yield it to You. I am willing to turn away and choose You with my whole heart. Thank You for calling me to be a part of Your Kingdom in this season—to stand for Your truth and righteousness. In all my flaws, weaknesses, and all that I am not, thank You that I am wholly adequate in Christ Jesus. In His name, amen.
